Lady Antebellum is wrapping up the Australian leg of their Own the Night tour. The threesome, comprised of Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley, returned Down Under this week after receiving a warm reception during their first visit in 2011, when they joined Aussie Keith Urban for his Get Closer tour.

"We found this whole little new world of fans over there for us," Charles explains (quote via ABC News Radio). "Everybody was super nice. We love their accents, so it was a beautiful place to be."

The "Wanted You More" singers were still a bit surprised at how in-demand their shows were halfway around the world. "We'd sell out the first night and add a show, which was pretty overwhelming," Charles recalls of planning the tour.

The trio, who are nominated for Vocal Group of the Year and Album of the Year at this year's CMAs, kicked off the trek in Melbourne last night (Sept. 25), and will head to Brisbane and Sydney before returning to the States. That is, after one little Australian field trip.

"I'm gonna make Charles go to a zoo because he didn't go last time," Hillary explains (quote via Country Weekly magazine). "There are no koalas in Brentwood, [Tenn.]," Dave adds. "We need you to hold a koala."

Lady A play in Melbourne again tonight (Sept. 26). See their remaining tour dates here.
