Lady AntebellumWhile the Zac Brown Band are spending a second week at the top of the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart with their single 'Highway 20 Ride,' Lady Antebellum slide into the No. 1 slot on Billboard's country singles chart with 'American Honey.'

Scoring their third consecutive No. 1 song with 'American Honey,' Lady A are also holding on to the top spot on Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart for the third straight week with the title track of their platinum-selling album, 'Need You Now.'

Although the band are known for their songwriting -- including having a hand in Luke Bryan's 'Do I,' they didn't write 'American Honey.' "This is actually the first song we weren't a part of," Lady A's Dave Haywood tells The Boot. "We knew we had to have it when we heard it. We had to record it. It's one that features Hillary on lead. It's a message that we want to have out there. As crazy as the times get for our job and anybody's job, you have to remember when life was a little simpler and a little sweeter."

The band's Charles Kelley agrees, saying, "It's just a nostalgic song."

The trio is extremely busy this week. They're set to perform 'American Honey' when they appear on NBC's 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' on Tuesday (April 13), before heading to Las Vegas to headline the annual Fremont Street Experience concert on Friday (April 16). The group then heads to the MGM Grand on Sunday to perform live on the ACM Awards, where they are the most nominated artist with seven nods. On Monday, Lady A will take part in the all-star tribute concert to the most-awarded duo in country music history, 'ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn -- The Last Rodeo,' which is being taped to air on CBS in May.
