Krystal Keith will hit the road this month to promote her new music. The singer will visit top country radio stations in some of the biggest markets, including San Diego, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Sacramento and several other cities throughout the month of August.

The daughter of Toby Keith, who already released her self-titled debut EP while working on her upcoming album, 'Whiskey & Lace,' says she poured her heart and soul into the new music.

“We picked songs that gave a broader range of what I can do … and I think we accomplished it,” she tells The Boot. “I’ve had some people say, ‘Wow, the range of songs that are on there is pretty cool. They aren’t all the same.’ There are songs on the album that are completely different from what’s on the EP. There’s blues and rock on the album. It’s not all the same. I think people will be pleasantly surprised that there’s still more to come.”

The Oklahoma native joined her famous father and several other celebrities, including Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Willie Nelson, for the recent Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert, to aid victims of the May storm that ravaged the area.

"I spent a lot of time out in the most devastated areas lending whatever kind of help I could. Seeing the smiles on the faces of families as they sift through the debris and find a special memento took my breath away. They have a survivor's spirit and those are the kind of people that make you proud to be an Oklahoman," she says.

"Being a part of this benefit concert was incredibly special for me," Keith adds. "Looking out into that crowd it was impossible not to find a familiar face in every direction. It shows how many of my friends, family and neighbors were affected and though the crowd was so large, what a sense of community we all came together to represent."

Keith's first single, 'Daddy Dance With Me,' was released this spring, and has already received more than 1,200,000 views on the video. She will release her full album, 'Whiskey & Lace,' early next year.
