Kenny Chesney Contemplating Marriage Again?
Kenny Chesney is devoting some of his time off this year to improving his personal life, and that likely includes spending more time with girlfriend Amy Colley. The hardworking star says he realizes now that he has to give as much effort to the relationships in his life as he does to his career, if he wants both areas to flourish.
"It's not like I'm taking a year off so I can get married again, because that could or couldn't happen," he tells PEOPLE. "But I want to put myself in a position to do it if it did happen. I want to put myself in a position to have a relationship in my life. Someone said, 'You sure do give a lot of your life to this' and I said, 'No, this IS my life.' There's no room for anything else. And that's gotta change. If I want a relationship, I have to give to it, too."
Along with focusing more on the personal, Kenny is taking some time to stop and smell the roses as well, specifically Italian roses along the Amalfi Coast. He recently worked in his first-ever Italian vacation to Capri and Positano and says it is now one of his "favorite places in the world."
