Kenny, Brad, Sugarland Donate Tickets for Charity

Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Sugarland are just a few of the artists raising their voices for a good cause. The country stars are donating some of their ticket proceeds to those in need through Tickets-for-Charity, a groundbreaking fund-raising opportunity created by Jord Poster, the co-founder of discount travel website Priceline.

Tickets-For-Charity enables music and sports fans to donate money to a worthwhile cause, while securing seats to concerts and sporting events. According to the Boston Herald, tickets purchased by promoters, artists and sports teams at or below the price of ticket brokers and scalpers, are then sold at or above face value, with the monetary difference going towards a list of pre-approved charities.

Other artists participating include James Taylor, Billy Joel, Elton John, Coldplay, Carlos Santana and Diana Krall, as well as Boston's Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins, with many more artists and sports teams expected to be added in the net few years. Tickets for select Broadway shows are also currently available.

So far, more than $4 million has been donated to organizations such as the Wildlife Conservation Society, Farm Aid and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Click here to purchase tickets for a good cause.
