She's one of Ellen DeGeneres' favorite -- and most frequent -- guests, but Wednesday (February 23) marked the first time Kellie Pickler returned to the famous chair as Mrs. Kyle Jacobs. The country superstar sat down to talk about her surprise Caribbean wedding with the hit songwriter -- and the other man who still holds a piece of her heart.

"I got hitched!" she gushed on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show.' "We ran away on New Year's. My best friend and I ran away."

The singer admits choosing to elope was a decision that even shocked her. "We had already done the cake and flowers, and every time we got to the guest list, it was like, 'Oh my God, I hate half these people.' Nothing personal," she joked, explaining the reason they escaped to an island.

Turns out, the impromptu ceremony was her dream come true. "It was perfect because we didn't plan anything," she says. The only detail she knew when she boarded the plane was her wedding dress, which she packed in her suitcase. "We didn't know what kind of cake we were going to get, we didn't have our food picked out. We totally just put faith in God that it would work out, and it did!"

One personal flair the happy couple did have was their engraved wedding bands. Kellie says she added a comedic touch to her husband's ring. "I put our wedding anniversary, 1-1-11 [on it], and I put, 'Put it back on!' " she says. "So, if he takes if off and he looks at it, it's going to say, 'Put it back on!'"

Their wedding location may have been an exotic island, but Kellie and Kyle soon traded in their swimsuits for combat boots. "I had already planned a USO tour to Iraq to entertain the troops, so we spent part of our honeymoon in Iraq."

The newylwed is still enjoying wedded bliss, but she admits Kyle isn't the only man for whom she has eyes. The 24-year old says there is another guy, several decades older then her, who also captures her heart.

"I'm in love with Clint Eastwood! I don't care (that he's older)," Kellie told The Boot. "He is the man! I just think he's awesome. I love all his movies. He's an incredible director. I'm a huge fan."

The movie star surprised Kellie the last time she visited with Ellen, prompting Kellie to sit on his lap and plant a big kiss on his lips. "I was practicing for my wedding day!" she jokes. Turns out, she made quite an impression on the 70-year old as well. The actor / director and his wife sent Kellie all of his movies and DVDs, autographed to her personally by the legend. "I don't know how to reach out to Clint and his wife, but I want to say thanks so much to him for being such a good sport," Kellie says.

For now, the former 'American Idol' contestant will have to settle for time with her new spouse. She is busy finding songs for her new album, which will hit shelves later this year. She'll also hit the road next month for several shows, including stops in Mississippi and Nevada. See her tour schedule here.
