Japan was ravaged by a 9.0 earthquake and powerful tsunami last month, costing thousands of people their lives and leaving millions homeless in the northeastern portion of the country. With the disaster area millions of miles away, several of music's biggest celebrities here at home are doing their part to help raise money for the recovery effort.

The EMI label group is soliciting donations from the artists on their roster, for a special auction on eBay to raise money for the American Red Cross, which will donate the proceeds to the rebuilding efforts. Country's own Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Eric Church, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Willie Nelson and Rosanne Cash are all offering valuable items, including signed guitars, concert tickets, signed photos, handwritten lyrics and autographed footballs, to raise money for the cause.

Other artists contributing to the auction include Katy Perry, Norah Jones, Iron Maiden, Coldplay, Aaron Neville, Good Charlotte, Depeche Mode and Kylie Minogue.

The first phase of the auction kicked off April 5, and will run through April 15. The second phase, which features 200 exclusive items, will begin April 11 and run through April 21.

More items are expected to be added shortly. In addition, EMI has pledged to match every donation up to one million dollars. To view items or make a bid, click here.
