Keith Urban Racks Up More Awards in Both Home Countries

Keith Urban got to stay home in Nashville to pick up a CMA Award last week, but he traveled the world for another honor he's just received. Keith and his tour sponsors KC Masterpiece earned the Billboard Concert Marketing and Promotion Award for the Escape Together World Tour.

The tour, which put Keith in front of millions of fans all across the United States and Canada, will soon head Down Under, where the superstar will finish the tour in time to enjoy the holidays with wife, Nicole Kidman, and their daughter, Sunday Rose.

The New Zealand-born Aussie also scored four nominations for the Country Music Association of Australia Awards, including Best Male Artist and Best Album for 'Defying Gravity.' And up next for the singer, the American Music Awards, where he's nominated, along with Jason Aldean and Darius Rucker, for Best Male Country Artist. Keith is also in the running for Best Male Artist and Best Country Artist in the People's Choice Awards, competing against some of country's biggest stars, including Tim McGraw and Toby Keith.

Watch Keith perform, along with Carrie Underwood, as one of only two country acts scheduled to appear this Sunday on the American Music Awards, airing live on ABC.
