Keith Urban kicked off the Australian leg of his Get Closer world tour earlier this month to plenty of eager crowds, and with the usual frenzied level of energy and excitement at his concerts, he says if the audience is ever sitting quietly and minding their p's and q's, he knows there's definitely something wrong -- and that's not what concerts are for, at least in his book.

"It's the prison warden security," Keith tells AdelaideNow. "God forbid that everyone can have a good time. A concert is supposed to be two hours of unbridled freedom, to be in the moment, to have the best night. You should be allowed to do that."

While back home Keith took advantage of some unbridled freedom of his own, taking his band and labelmates Lady Antebellum down to the Sutton Forest farm he and wife Nicole Kidman own, where the group reportedly spent time dirt-biking and riding motorcycles. The Adelaide paper reports that Keith later gave Charles Kelley some good-natured ribbing onstage during their show, pointing out how silly the tall, long-legged singer looked riding a rather short bike.

The Down Under leg of Keith's tour has wrapped up but fans can check out footage of the shows from Tamworth, Sydney, and Melbourne on the singer's website. Keith is slated to meet up again with his 'CMT Crossroads' partner John Mayer in Las Vegas on April 30 for the 2011 Tiger Jam at Mandalay Bay, a night of music to benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation.

On the homefront, now that baby Faith Margaret has joined the Urban family, Keith admits that even with all the traveling and jet lag, schedules have definitely changed to accommodate the little one. "You know the meaning of minority rules when a baby is in the house," he says.

And though he battles to keep his private life private with his wife and children, Keith did reveal some intimate moments in the video for his latest song, 'Without You,' and he tells AdelaideNow that the footage the director shot of daughter Sunday Rose on set that day really stirred some emotions in him.

"I had Sunny with me on set and sat her down and just wanted to shoot a bit of her to keep for ourselves for our home movies. And watching her was the part that really moved me. I wanted all the images to fly by in a very dream-like way and not be so blatant. This song is obviously so personal, and we're obviously very private people, so it was a question of how to balance that and honor the authenticity of the song."

'Without You' is currently just outside the Top 10 on Billboard's country chart.
