It's the chance to hear great music while also supporting an urgent cause. On May 10 at Nashville's Listening Room Café, former Trick Pony members Heidi Newfield and Ira Dean, along with Josh Thompson, Darryl Worley, pop star Tiffany, Chalee Tennison, and Bridgette Tatum will all join together to raise funds to assist former Trick Pony member Keith Burns' daughter, Savannah, as she bravely battles leukemia.

Keith, who joined Heidi and Ira in the Grammy-nominated trio Trick Pony before launching the duo Burns and Poe (with singer Michelle Poe), has spent much of the last month by his daughter's bedside while she continues her recovery process. Diagnosed with leukemia on April 2, followed by suffering a stroke a few days later, the Georgia College and State University student continues to recover, while her friends and family remain steadfast in their support.

"In a time of crisis it's the love of family and friends that paves the path to miracles," Keith writes on Savannah's Caring Bridge journal website. "I can't say that this hasn't been a traumatic and difficult time ... We have a lot more work ahead of us, but we are determined to get through this and get Savannah back to her feisty, spunky and fun loving self. This is going to be a marathon of sorts filled with good days and bad, but those who want to love and support Savannah with us are welcome to come on this journey of love. All of our lives will be touched in the process so even in this terrible tragedy we will find the blessings."

Tickets for the benefit concert are $15 and can be purchased here. A silent auction will also be held. Keep track of Savannah's progress here.
