Country duo Burns & Poe (Keith Burns and Michelle Poe) are getting in the gift-giving mood this weekend, as they host their first annual Christmas concert and party Saturday, December 18, at one of Nashville's more intimate venues, the Listening Room.

The night's special guests will include hit songwriters Karen Staley (Faith Hill's 'Take Me As I Am' and Tracy Byrd's 'Keeper of the Stars'), Gary Hannon (Montgomery Gentry's 'Back When I Knew it All' and Joe Nichols' 'Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off'), Shawn Hammonds, Kate Taylor, Labeling Delores, Lathan Moore, Lorna Flowers and Keith's former Trick Pony band mate, Ira Dean.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM with live music beginning at 7:30 PM. Tickets are just $5 at the door, and attendees are encouraged to bring along an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.

"This is our small way of bringing some local children some Christmas joy and show that giving is the true meaning of Christmas," Keith tells The Boot.

During the evening, Burns & Poe will perform tunes from their self-titled debut album as well as their new Christmas single, 'Hear the Angels Singing.'
