Country legend Tanya Tucker will soon return to the airwaves with her first album of brand-new tunes in 17 years. Americana duo Kacy & Clayton have announced plans to release a new album in the fall. Titled Carrying On, the 10-track effort was produced by Wilco's Jeff Tweedy. "When I first heard Kacy & Clayton, I was struck by how much detail and nuance they had absorbed from what sounded like a large swath of my record collection," Tweedy says in a statement. "When I told them that they were as good as the artists they were drawing from, I’m not sure they believed me. On this record I don’t hear those influences as much as I hear them taking the things they love so intimately and telling their own story. I think they’re a truly great band.” Carrying On is set for release on Oct. 4 via New West Records.

According to a press release, Evans has added seven new dates to his Morgan Evans World Tour, including stops in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland.
