Kacey Musgraves has put a fun new spin on the Disney classic "A Spoonful of Sugar." Musgraves tried her hand at the tune from Mary Poppins for the upcoming We Love Disney album.

In her cover of the song, Musgraves does a great job of staying true to the upbeat tune but adding a country flare, and it'll bring a smile to your face, especially if you remember it from childhood. As the song progresses, Musgraves impresses with speedier singing ... and her band keeps time, too. Press play on the video above to hear the tune.

“It’s kind of this really fun Western swing, like very Disney. There's bird whistling, and it's so fun,” Musgraves tells Spin. “It was one of the funnest things. I do love getting outside of my world and stepping into a challenge like that -- especially if it is, like, a whimsical, larger-than-life kind of thing."

As for her own favorite Disney soundtrack, Musgraves confesses that it comes from a Pixar classic.

"I really actually love the music of Toy Story, especially the first one. Those are the songs that I feel like ... they’re the type of songs that are just ingrained in you since you were a kid, and you can’t help but associate them with nothing but fun," she explains. "Also, there’s something very classic about those songs. They weren’t written to appease today’s generation or the next one. They’re just the songs.”

In addition to Musgraves, the We Love Disney album also features Rascal Flatts and Lucy Hale, plus more musical heavy hitters. It will be available on Oct. 30.
