Kacey Musgraves Announces 2015 Country & Western Rhinestone Revue

Fluorescent cacti? Check. Rhinestones? Check. Kacey Musgraves? Check. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has announced the Kacey Musgraves Country & Western Rhinestone Revue, and it kicks off in two short months.

Musgraves announced her new tour on Tuesday (June 23), the same day that she dropped her highly anticipated sophomore record Pageant Material. The trek will kick off in Atlanta on Aug. 27 and hit up iconic venues like the Wiltern, the Ryman Auditorium, the Apollo Theatre and Royal Albert Hall, among others. She'll travel to California, Michigan, New York, Dublin, Glasgow, London and many other areas of the U.S. and UK before wrapping things up right before Thanksgiving, on Nov. 22, in Amsterdam.

Musgraves' Pageant Material follows up her highly successful debut record, Same Trailer Different Park, which garnered a huge amount of critical acclaim and awards.

“I didn’t really have any intentions going in, except for just wanting to write good songs, country songs," Musgraves says of her sophomore album. "All my songs are inspired by what’s going on in my world and in my life.”

The 26-year-old recently played at Country Jam 2015, and though her record just dropped, she's already thinking about her next one, which she says will be "completely different."
