The Johnny Orr Band have released their debut single for country radio, 'Down South.'

The song was written by singer-songwriter Orr, and focuses on the feeling that comes with returning home, even just for a visit.

"I was remembering family reunions in the North Carolina country when I wrote this," Orr says.

"It's about all the things we do, like hanging out with friends down by the lake, drinking beer and enjoying Mom's home cooking."

Orr formed the band in 2007 and has since held opening act slots with Kenny Chesney, the Zac Brown Band, Little Big Town, Gretchen Wilson, Parmalee and Cole Swindell.

'Down South' is the title track off of the band's current EP from John & John Entertainment. The EP and single are available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes.
