Jewel’s Alleged Stalker Arrested

A man who has been charged with stalking Jewel at the North Texas ranch she shares with her husband, Ty Murray, is now being held at the Erath County Jail in Stephenville.

According to the Stephenville Empire-Tribune (via CMTT), an arrest record shows Michael Kozelka, 50, was found at the ranch on Sept. 14. and warned not to return. The next day, however, the man was allegedly discovered at the main ranch house with a knife.

A jail official says Kozelka is being charged with felony stalking. If convicted of the third-degree felony, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
