Jason Isbell has something to celebrate: His Something More Than Free album has set the record for the most time spent at No. 1 on the Americana Radio Airplay chart.

Something More Than Free spent 20 weeks at the top of the Americana Radio Airplay chart, besting the previous record of 15 weeks, held by both Robert Plant (2010's Band of Joy) and Isbell himself (2013's Southeastern).

Isbell's newest album also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums, Folk Albums and Top Rock Albums charts after its release in July. Something More Than Free's wide range of chart success can be attributed to the project's wide variety of songs: Its 11 tracks range from folk ballads to Southern rock-infused tunes. Isbell wrote all of the songs by himself, only seeking help from producer Dave Cobb if he got stuck.

"I don’t really co-write with anybody,” he explains. “I write all my songs myself.”

Isbell has numerous shows coming up, some of which have already sold out. A complete list of dates is available on his website.

Something More Than Free is available for download via iTunes and Amazon.
