Jack Ingram will take a break from his CMA Music Fest activities this week to get a little 'crazy.' The Texas native will fly to his home state for his 'Barefoot & Crazy' video shoot Friday, which will take place at a resort on Austin's Lake Travis.

"If we're gonna throw a pool party, I want to do it in my backyard," Jack explains. "That's the whole idea of 'Barefoot & Crazy.' You can get a little wild and kick out all that stress right where you are. It's a matter of just letting go and letting it fly. And for me, that's something I think we all forget can happen a whole lot closer to home than we think."

The single is very much becoming a signature song for the summer of 2009. USA Today had it as Pick of the Week on May 12. It is one of those songs that takes a listener away from their daily grind to a place of relaxation and good vibes.

"There's always a place you can escape to, to let go of all that, and we all need to do that every now and again," Jack explains of the song's catchy lyrics. "It sounds so simple, but there's nothing that'll save your life, make it all feel right again, quite like just getting away."

Once the shoot is complete, Jack will head right back to Nashville, where he will be one of the acts playing LP Field on Sunday, the last night of the CMA Music Festival. He's also playing a CMT Awards kickoff concert on Monday, before the awards show Tuesday night.
