Gwyneth Paltrow, ‘Kenny Rogers’ Duet on ‘Saturday Night Live’
Gwyneth Paltrow became a student of country music to prepare for her role in the film, 'Country Strong.' She lived in Nashville, learned to play guitar, went to several honky-tonks and loaded her stereo with country music, from Faith Hill to Dolly Parton, Shelby Lynn to Loretta Lynn.
Gwyneth really immersed herself in the genre ... or did she? When the Oscar-winning actress hosted 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend, her monologue was interrupted by "Kenny Rogers," asking that she join him for a duet of 'Islands in the Stream.' And let's just say she was forced to make up her own lyrics. Watch the hilarious video below, followed by a clip of Gwyneth doing her best Taylor Swift impersonation, in an 'SNL' skit set at a Bar Mitzvah.
