Greg Bates Gets Engaged

Greg Bates is off the market! The singer revealed via Twitter that he proposed to his girlfriend, singer-songwriter Shelley Skidmore, over Valentine's Day weekend.

While the Tennessee native hasn't revealed any details about the romantic proposal, or the upcoming nuptials, the picture shows a heart that appears to be made from rose petals, along with lit candles, in what seems to be a small church.

It looks like the 'Did It for the Girl' singer has great taste in jewelry. Skidmore tweeted a photo of her brand-new sparkler after agreeing to become Mrs. Bates.

While no official wedding date has been announced, Bates is already getting in shape for the big day.
