This year's CMA Awards telecast will feature three guitar slingers honoring a legendary picker. Reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Brad Paisley will team up with previous CMA Entertainers of the Year Vince Gill and Keith Urban to pay tribute to Country Music Hall of Famer and former CMA Entertainer of the Year Glen Campbell, as part of the star-studded ceremony.

Throughout his career, Glen has been a larger than life force in music and entertainment. A part of the iconic group of session musicians known as the Wrecking Crew, he assisted with seminal recordings like the Beach Boys' 'Pet Sounds.' Named both CMA Entertainer and Male Vocalist of the Year in 1968, he hosted his own CBS variety series beginning in 1969. He also starred in the original 'True Grit' alongside John Wayne.

On the strength of such classic hits as 'Rhinestone Cowboy,' 'Gentle on My Mind' and 'Wichita Lineman,' Glen has sold more than 45 million albums throughout his illustrious career. Earlier this year, he released the critically-lauded 'Ghost on the Canvas,' which he insists will be his final studio album. He's currently on the Glen Campbell Goodbye tour, after which he will retire. Sadly, the music legend has been diagnosed with the early stages of Alzheimer's disease.

The 45th Annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC on Nov. 9 at 8:00 PM ET.
