A television series focused on the career of country superstar Garth Brooks is set to air on A&E this winter. Garth: The Road I'm On will be part of the network's Biography series.

Garth: The Road I'm On will be a four-hour TV special highlighting Brooks' award-winning career through interviews with Brooks, his wife and fellow country star Trisha Yearwood, Brooks' original band and other family and friends. The series' crew was also given behind-the-scenes access to the singer and his road crew during Brooks' current Stadium Tour, which will be included along with historical footage.

"If I was ever going to do a documentary on my life and music, I wanted A&E to do it," says Brooks. "They have interviewed all the people who would know what the true stories are, so no matter how this turns out … I can’t say it isn’t the truth."

Garth: The Road I'm On is set to premiere on Nov. 24 at 9PM ET. The first two hours will premiere that night, with the last two set to air on Nov. 25 at the same time. The documentary is being produced by Film 45 and Endeavor Content.

"The Biography brand continues to be the gold standard for superior biographical storytelling and we are truly honored to have the opportunity to partner with the iconic Garth Brooks,” says Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming for A&E. “The story of his meteoric rise to fame is one of true grit, talent and sacrifice with him reaching a level of global success very few have ever achieved and we couldn’t think of a better platform than Biography to share his personal journey with viewers for the first time.”

Brooks' Stadium Tour follows his 2018 show at Notre Dame Stadium, the first concert ever held at that venue. This summer, he's also been playing intimate concerts at a series of dive bars in celebration of his newest single, "Dive Bar."

Brooks' last full tour, his 2014-2017 World Tour, wrapped up in Nashville in December of 2017. Since then, Brooks has said numerous times that he's working on another studio album, to follow 2016's Gunslinger, reportedly titled Fun.
