Garth Brooks is getting ready to release his new studio album, 'Man Against Machine,' and he shared one of its tracks, 'Mom,' on 'Good Morning America' Friday morning (Nov. 7).

The song, a conversation between God and an unborn child, is a definite tear-jerker ... even for the guy singing it.

“When God describes what a mom is, I weep uncontrollably every time,” Brooks says. “Is there anything more beautiful than [a] mom to pay tribute to?”

Featuring lines like, "There's somebody special that's waiting for you ... There's someone down there waiting whose only goal in life / Is making sure you're always gonna be alright / A loving angel, tender, tough and strong," the emotional tune is prime to become a fan-favorite mother-son wedding dance song.

Brooks' 'GMA' debut of the song was simple -- just him and an acoustic guitar. But that's all this song really needs.
