Garth Brooks Reveals His Final New York State World Tour Stop
Garth Brooks has one final stop to make in New York State on his World Tour: The country star has revealed plans for a show in Albany, N.Y., in March of 2017.
Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood -- his special guest at all of his World Tour dates -- will perform at Albany's Times Union Center on March 11 at 7PM. It will be Brooks' first time performing in Albany in 20 years, and his final World Tour stop in New York State.
Tickets for Brooks' Albany concert will go on sale on Dec. 16 at 10AM ET, with a limit of eight tickets per purchase in effect. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or 1-866-448-7849. Tickets will cost $65.73, plus a $3 facility fee and a $6.25 service charge, for a total of $74.98.
Brooks’ World Tour is on hiatus until late January; following this break for the holidays, Brooks will perform in Cincinnati, Ohio, Memphis, Tenn., and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, before heading to Albany. The singer has said previously that he will wrap up the North American leg of his World Tour, which began in Chicago, Ill., in 2014, next year, then look at touring overseas.
The 2016 CMA Entertainer of the Year, Brooks released The Ultimate Collection, a new box set, on Nov. 11; the project includes nine discs of music from Brooks’ catalog, as well as some previously unreleased songs, and the 10th disc is an exclusive version of Brooks’ new album, Gunslinger, featuring Target-only bonus tracks. Also on Nov. 11, Brooks and Yearwood released a holiday duets record; Gunslinger, meanwhile, was released widely on Nov. 25.
