Reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year Florida Georgia Line grabbed their acoustic guitars and performed 'Dirt' at the 2014 CMA Awards, showing off their chemistry and acoustic ability in the stripped down, sentimental rendition.

'Dirt' has been highly considered FGL's most traditional sounding country song to date and is the first single off their just-released album 'Anything Goes,' which dropped Oct. 14.

Reminiscent of their 'Dirt' music video, the performance was simple -- and it's all the song really needs; it's a classic love song that speaks for itself. Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard just relied on their acoustic guitars and voices, and it was a solid set at the CMAs. It was certainly different than some of their amped-up, energizing, fiery performances, and showed a real solidarity to the band.

“We’re trying to step our game up,” Kelley says of the new album and new sound. ”We’ve got a couple of awesome songs that we’re pumped about everybody hearing. Can’t wait to get the new stuff out. It’s definitely gonna have evolved from record one, but it’s still going to have that FGL feel, but we’re going to take some chances here and there.”
