The 2013 CMA Entertainer of the Year, George Strait took the stage with country rocker and fellow Entertainer of the Year nominee Eric Church for a joint performance of 'Cowboys Like Us.'

Strait released the tune in 2003 as the second single from his album 'Honkytonkville.' The song is reminiscent of outlaw country, with lyrics like, "I take off time to time / With those crazy friends of mine / Head out on steel horses / With wheels and we ride."

The two looked like they were having almost as fun onstage as they would be riding 'steel horses' together out in the open road. This wasn't the first time Strait and Church performed the song; they also teamed up for it on the legend's 2014 Cowboy Rides Away Tour, much to the delight of fans.

While their performance on tour was great, their set at the CMAs was also classic and country at its finest. Strait and Church could not have looked more different: The older singer wore a collard shirt, suit jacket and jeans, while the 'Cold One' hitmaker wore his trademark aviators and a black leather jacket.

Each singer took a verse, and the crowd could not have been more enthusiastic. After all, two CMA Entertainer of the Year nominees on stage at the same time? A match made in country music heaven!
