Country Stars Pay Homage to the King of Rock and Roll at ‘Elvis All-Star Tribute’ [PICTURES]
Stars from across the genre spectrum gathered to pay tribute to the King of Rock and Roll during the taping of Elvis All-Star Tribute. The big event is set to air on NBC on Feb. 17 at 9PM ET, and a number of representatives from the country music world will be on hand to pay homage to Elvis Presley's '68 Comeback Special, 50 years after it first aired.
The two-hour Elvis All-Star Tribute will be hosted by Blake Shelton. Throughout the night, artists will recreate Presley's 1968 event with all-star performances; the show will also include a showcase of rare footage and interviews with Priscilla Presley and Steve Binder (the director of the original special), plus a special appearance from Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.
Among the artists set to perform during the Elvis All-Star Tribute are Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Pistol Annies, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. A full list of performances is below; readers can flip through the photo gallery below to see who was on hand when the special taped back in October.
