Dolly Parton Plans Rare Nashville Performance
Happy Birthday, Dolly Parton! The superstar turns 63 today, with fans celebrating the news that she's set to play a show at home. Parton will take the stage at the Wildhorse Saloon on February 2 at a benefit for the W.O. Smith Nashville Community School, which provides music lessons for underprivileged children.
Music City TV reports that Brooks & Dunn's Ronnie Dunn, Kellie Pickler and Keith Anderson will also perform. In addition, Gunnar Nelson, one-half -- with brother Matthew -- of the hit duo Nelson, is reportedly assembling an '80s reunion of sorts, with members of Slaughter, Night Ranger, Survivor and others slated to participate as part of the benefit.
