As the Feb. 7 release date of Dierks Bentley's album, 'Home,' gets closer, the singer himself isn't staying too close to home. The day after the album drops, Dierks will be in New York for an appearance on CBS' 'Late Show With David Letterman,' airing at 11:35 PM ET on Wednesday night (Feb. 8). Just prior to his appearance, the country star will also participate in a live webcast, performing several of his greatest hits, along with songs from the new collection.

'Live on Letterman' will be webcast from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York beginning at 8:00 PM ET. Fans can watch live or on-demand at the official Live on Letterman website. In addition, the show will be broadcast on select CBS radio stations and viewable live on CBS's JumboTron in Times Square, as well as through various mobile applications.

Just days before he steps onto the historic stage of the Ed Sullivan Theater, Dierks will be home to grace another venerable stage, at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. His show on Thursday, Feb. 2, will be the hometown crowd's first chance to hear tunes from the new album, including the ACM Song of the Year-nominated title track, along with the fun-loving 'Tip It on Back' and the album's closing track, 'Thinking of You,' featuring a very special surprise guest.

Dierks also recently announced the 2012 dates of his Country and Cold Cans tour, with the Eli Young Band returning to the trek, along with Will Hoge and the Cadillac Black also opening select shows.

"Country & Cold Cans was such a great tour last fall," says Dierks. "It's way too much fun to stop, and we knew we had to continue it into the spring and make another run across the U.S. when we get home from Canada and Australia. We're even going to Alaska ... giving new meaning to cold cans. [laughs] I'm excited that EYB is coming out with us again: great dudes and they put on a killer show. I'm also a big fan of both the Cadillac Black and Will Hoge, so I'm looking forward to watching their sets every night."

The tour kicks off in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre on April 13. Tickets go on sale Feb. 10. Additional dates will be added here as they are announced.
