On tonight's (Oct. 30) episode of GAC's 'Day Jobs,' a show that sends country stars back to the jobs they worked before making it in music, David Nail reveals some dirty little secrets.

As it turns out, he never actually caddied at a golf course or served drinks at a waterfront bar, as he sings on 'Summer Job Days,' a tune from his 2009 debut, 'I'm About to Come Alive.' Instead, the native of Kennett, Mo., worked at the local Dairy Queen, where he recently returned to make cones, fry up chicken and -- worst of all -- mop floors.

"In reality, it's not very difficult at all," David said in an interview with AOL Jobs. "Taking orders, remembering how to punch them in. It's definitely not curing cancer."

The hardest part might be avoiding the temptation of so much tasty food.

"Back then I could eat or drink all I wanted and I didn't gain any weight," said David, who's currently making the rounds with country-pop superstar Taylor Swift. "Now just the thought of eating ice cream puts pounds on me."

David is gearing up to release his sophomore album, 'The Sound of a Million Dreams,' on Nov. 15, and while his life has long centered on just one dream -- a career in music -- he didn't mind returning to his high school gig.

"Any time I get to go home is a joyous occasion," he said.
