Craig Morgan's first single on Black River Entertainment, 'This Ole Boy,' heads to radio June 21. The tune, which was written by Ben Hayslip, Dallas Davidson and Rhett Akins, is described as a sing-along country love song. Not only is it his debut song on the label, but it's also the lead track from Craig's as-of-yet-untitled sixth studio album, which is expected to hit stores in the beginning of 2012.

"When you go out and buy an album, and I've done it myself, you sometimes feel, 'Well

the songs on the radio were great but the rest was OK,'" the singer acknowledges. "When they

play this record, I want them to say, 'Man, I like the songs on the radio, but I love this other song even better!' That's what's rewarding about an album."

It's been 10 years since his first album, but the process of choosing songs hasn't changed much for the Tennessee native. "No matter what level of an artist you are, you choose songs based on who you are at that time and how you feel," Craig reveals. "I'm at a point in my life where I'm extremely comfortable. Extremely confident. I feel good about my family, my children, my friends, my career. The songs that I picked, looking back now, reflect that."

Craig signed with Black River Entertainment in April, following the announcement of his amicable parting with his three-year label home, BNA Records, back in February.

Also on Craig's summer docket is the second season of his TV show, 'Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors,' which premieres on the Outdoor Channel June 25.

The half-hour reality show follows Craig at home, on the road and, most importantly, outdoors as he does everything from hunting and fishing to bungee jumping and skydiving.

"I've been hunting and filming [it] for as long as I've been a singer ... or longer," he admits. "It's always been a big part of my life. I didn't pursue that as much because my music has always had my total focus. When this opportunity came about for me to have my own show, I felt like this was another avenue I could explore as an entertainer."

Craig is also on tour, with his next stop June 11 in Portland, Ore. Get a full list of dates here.
