Smokey the Bear, who celebrates his 65th birthday this year, would be proud of Craig Morgan. Seems the country star is encouraging fans to be safe when listening to his hit single, 'Bonfire.' He's also encouraging them to be safe when preparing one of his favorite desserts, S'Mores, over an open flame.

The chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker dessert is notoriously concocted around a campfire. But Craig can get one without all the trouble, by just driving down to Dickson, Tenn., near where he and his family live.

"Anybody can make S'Mores, but few people have perfected them," Craig says with a laugh. "We actually have a little coffee shop in Dickson, right on Main Street. And they sell S'Mores, and they bring you a little fire, these little cans of fire, and you sit there at the table and make your own S'Mores right there in the place. I mean, that has got to be the greatest coffee shop ever where you have open flames with children. I love that! My kids are putting sticks on it, trying to make it bigger ... I'm like 'No, no, that's for outside!'"

The single 'Bonfire' wasn't even written when Craig released his album, 'That's Why,' last October. After he wrote it and saw the reaction from his fans, he went back to the record company and asked if they could add it to the CD. The label agreed, adding 'Bonfire' and 'This Ain't Nothin'' to the new versions of the album.

"I told them these songs were the kind of things that fans wanted to hear from me, and I was very fortunate that everybody at the label agreed that we would put these on there and reissue the record," Craig says, adding, "I'm most grateful to the fans because they allow me to do what I do, and 'Bonfire' is the kind of song I love to do. It's the kind of music that I am. I write and sing about the little things, the simple things, the everyday stuff. That's what this song is about -- it's everyday stuff that people do."
