Craig Morgan has inked a deal with Sony/BMG Nashville. The Army sergeant turned-country singer is leaving the independent Broken Bow Records after four years of great success on the singles charts, but never much luck in album sales.

"I am as excited about this as I was when I signed my first record deal," Morgan told a group of radio broadcasters in Nashville last week. "To have this partnership going forward is the greatest way I could think of to get my new music out to the fans."

We can expect a new single from Morgan in early summer and his first Sony/BMG album in early fall. Sony/BMG Nashville is also home to Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride and Kellie Pickler, to name a few.
