Craig Morgan is celebrating the release today of his highly-anticipated new album, 'That's Why' -- his fifth studio CD but first on a major record label. Morgan has moved from the independent Broken Bow Records to BNA (home of powerhouse acts like Kenny Chesney and Kellie Pickler). But the move to the big leagues hasn't drastically changed the kind of music this 43-year-old Army veteran is making ... It has just given him more of an outlet to share it.

"This album is a continuation of the life-telling stories that I have done throughout my career," says Morgan. "And now, I have been given so many new tools to work with that I have the opportunity to be more creative than in the past."

Morgan claims co-writes on six of the album's ten tracks, including the first single, 'Love Remembers,' which is already a Top 20 hit and climbing. He also wrote the CD's title track, explaining that the 'that' in 'That's Why' is his family: wife Karen, daughter Alex and sons Kyle, Jerry and Wyatt.

"That's why I do what I do, and that's why I live the way I live," Morgan tells The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "All of the songs on the record kind of reflect that. That's why I get cracking in the morning and fight all that traffic ... and break my back for a slice of the American pie. It ain't about me."

'That's Why' comes just three weeks after the release of Morgan's first greatest-hits collection, his final project with Broken Bow. Morgan's 'Greatest Hits' includes his smash songs 'That's What I Love About Sunday,' 'Almost Home,' 'Redneck Yacht Club' and 'Tough.'
