Craig Morgan took his humanitarianism to the extreme over the weekend, allowing a fan to shave off his curly locks in the name of goodwill during his fifth annual Charity Motocross Ride, Concert and Sporting Clay Shoot. The bidder, former NFL player Robb Nelson, shelled out $1,200 to give the Army veteran a custom buzz cut.

All proceeds from the two-day event will be donated to Billy's Place, a home for temporarily displaced children in the singer's hometown of Dickson, Tenn. In addition to the small fortune raised through the haircut, $12,500 was raised from a custom dirt bike during the live auction. A grand total of all donations is expected to be announced shortly.

When Craig isn't focused on his charitable efforts, the singer is gearing up for the release of his next studio album, his first under the Black River Music Group label. The project's first single, 'This Ole Boy,' is currently at country radio and available for download at all digital outlets.
