Craig Morgan is honoring service members and those who make their lives overseas a little brighter. The country star, who is an Army veteran himself, is at Ford Hood, Texas, today (Aug. 28) at the 18th annual Jack Daniel's/USO Care Package Stuffing Party. Military families, Jack Daniel's employees and USO volunteers will spend the day stuffing 7,500 care packages for troops stationed overseas. In addition to prepaid calling cards, toiletries, snacks, disposable cameras and other goodies, each package will include a "toast" card with a message of support. Jack Daniel's has been collecting the cards all summer.

Today's event will end with a free Craig Morgan concert, which is open to military I.D. card holders and their families. The singer-songwriter has been a part of every Toast event, including one at Chicago's Navy Pier and another in Sturgis, S.D., earlier this summer.

"Being part of all 18 'Toast to the Troops' events has been humbling for me because I know what it means to receive a care package while serving overseas," says Craig. "I also know how much these events can shine a light on the sacrifices made by military spouses and their families on the home front. We can't wait to let these families know how much they're loved and supported."
