Craig Morgan Announces 2014 Tour Dates

Craig Morgan is getting ready to hit the road on a cross-country headlining tour.

The singer will kick off his Craig Morgan: The Journey tour on Feb. 7, in Jacksonville, Fla., performing songs from his latest album, 'The Journey (Livin' Hits).' The 12-song record includes some new songs, as well as several of his biggest hits.

"I will tell you, this is the first time in my career that I’ve put so much effort into titling an album," he tells The Boot. "We started looking at what was going on in my life and my career and my music, and then took the idea of incorporating some of the previous hits -- in particular some that weren’t on the greatest hits record. And then add new music, and talk about the journey of my life, and where I’m at musically."

The debut single from the album, 'Wake Up Lovin' You,' soared into the Top 40. Morgan will be joined for certain dates on the tour by Chad Warrix, who is best known as one of the founding members of Halfway to Hazard. VA Mortgage Leader is sponsoring the tour.
