Dolly, Reba + Taylor’s Fashion Forward Moments Remembered

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tenn. is celebrating the holidays with 'Dress in Season: Dolly, Reba and Taylor,' a temporary exhibit showcasing Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire and Taylor Swift's most memorable fashion moments.

Among the archived items include Dolly's Tony Chase ensemble, worn by the style icon during her 1990 ABC-TV special, 'Christmas at Home,' as well as on the cover of her holiday album, 'Home for Christmas.' The white velvet costume jacket features organic bead work and white fur trim, a flowing skirt and vintage-style hat.

Made famous during her 1993 CMA Awards performance, Reba's red sequined dress with a plunging neckline is also on display, as is Taylor's red, floor-length Monique Lhuillier gown, worn during her red carpet arrival at the 2010 CMA Awards.

A fashionista on and offstage, Dolly continues to dazzle her fans with her vibrant wardrobe choices on her Better Day world tour. "I'm gonna try on some different clothes. I don't know what mood I'm in today," Dolly tells The Boot about her pre-show rituals. "I judge what I wear by the mood I'm in or the feeling I get from the day. Even if I plan to wear something else, I prepare three outfits, maybe even four, the day before, because when it gets closer to show time, I may want to change colors. I may want to be yellow, or I may want to be blue. I may want to wear white and black or just white. I spend all afternoon thinking about the show."
