Cody Canada and the Departed Release ‘All Nighter’ Music Video

Cody Canada and the Departed have released a new music video for their song "All Nighter," featuring members of the Braun family.

The video for the track includes the entire Braun family, including Willy and Cody Braun of Reckless Kelly, Micky and Gary Braun of Micky and the Motorcars and Muzzie Braun, along with their individual families. The clip shows the close-knit nature of the Braun clan through family pictures and has Canada, the Departed and the Brauns playing "All Nighter" at an informal "all-nighter" jam session following a family meal.

Canada penned "All Nighter," which comes off of his and the Departed's 2015 album HippieLovePunk, in honor of Mark “Gus” McCoy, the former bassist for Micky and the Motorcars who tragically drowned in 2012.

“There was a loss in our music family that hurt pretty badly, and I wanted that person to know that we thought of him every day,” Canada tells Texas Monthly. “Micky Braun passed on writing the song to me. I think it was a little too close to the chest for him. So on New Year’s Eve of 2013, I finished it. I played it a month later for [their father] Muzzie Braun up in Idaho by his wood-burning stove. I noticed the stove had 'All Nighter’ etched on the front. I had no idea. It was meant to be.”
