Carrie Underwood is set to make history in London. The country superstar will be the first-ever country artist to perform as part of the Apple Music Festival.

The seven-time Grammy Awards winner will headline one of the event's 10 nights later this month. The 2015 Apple Music Festival is scheduled to take place from Sept. 19 to Sept. 28, with Underwood taking the stage on Sept. 21. The festival will be available for fans to watch live or on demand, free of charge, through both Apple Music and Apple TV.

"Playing in the UK is always such a thrill!" Underwood shares in a press release. “I’m really looking forward to heading back and being a part of such an amazing lineup at this year’s Apple Music Festival. What a unique concert experience, not only for the fans at the Roundhouse, but also for fans across the globe who can stream it live!”

The Apple Music Festival, formerly called the iTunes Festival, has been held in London for the past eight years; it was renamed for this year because of Apple's launch of Apple Music. Other performers set to take the stage at the 2015 event include Pharrell Williams, One Direction, Florence + the Machine, the Weeknd, the Chemical Brothers, Take That and Disclosure. Ticket details and more information about Apple Music Festival can be found on the festival's website.

As Underwood gets ready for her time on stage at Apple Music Festival, she is also busy getting ready for her new album, Storyteller, to drop on Oct. 23. "Smoke Break," the lead single off of the album, has seen great success since its release: The single quickly earned the highest one-week add total in the history of Country Aircheck.

Storyteller is available for pre-order on Amazon.
