Fresh off the success of Bucky Covington's first single released as an independent artist, 'Buzzin,' from his upcoming new album, the singer has announced he has signed with new management and a new booking agent.

Covington is partnering with F3 Entertainment (Craig Morgan, Ira Dean) for management, and Buddy Lee Attractions (Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line) as his booking agent.

“F3 Entertainment is excited to be working with Bucky Covington,” founder Ken Madson says. “He’s a great performer and has an authenticity necessary for success in the country format.”

“We are excited to have Bucky Covington on our exclusive roster," David Kiswiney, VP of Buddy Lee Attractions, adds. "America knows who he is from his his hit songs on country radio and his finalist finish on the fifth season of 'American Idol.' Bucky is a perfect fit for our team, and we look forward [to] representing him for all live engagements, including festivals and fairs, for 2014 and beyond.”

2014 is shaping up to be a big year for the former 'American Idol' contestant. In addition to putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album, he will become a first-time dad this fall with his fiancee, Nashville publicist Katherine Cook.

“Katherine came and threw a pregnancy test in front of me — three of them actually — and they all said the same thing. The only problem was I didn’t know what they were! I was like, ‘What is this? Are you okay?’” he recalls. “So she told me and I got so excited!”
