Brothers Osborne are big fans of the diversity within the country music genre these days, but at the outset of their career, when they first heard one of their songs come on the radio, they actually thought the music that country radio was playing was pretty bad. To learn about the best and weirdest run-ins the duo has had with fans who were listening to their songs in their cars, in TJ Osborne's words, read on!

When we first started getting played on country radio, it was really bad. I mean, country radio was so bad that it was almost hard for me to even listen to it [in order to] get to hear myself play. So now, I feel like it's really changed in strides, and there's a lot more artistry and individuality out there.

I do remember the first time I heard one of our songs. Even now when our song comes on -- like, if we were to hear it right now, in the distance -- it's almost distracting. I always love when someone's like, "Hey, your song's playing!" And I'm like, "Yeah, I know what my music sounds like." But it's still a cool feeling!

I'll tell you what's really cool, is when you're in a car, and someone drives past you blaring your song. It's really awesome. There was a guy recently, right after we did "Burning Man" [with Dierks Bentley], who was just sitting there in his car in a garage, just parked there, jamming to it. I just walked up to his car, like, "What's up, man?!" I think at first, he was like, "What in the hell is this guy doing?!"
