Brad Paisley will celebrate the release of his upcoming album, 'Moonshine in the Trunk,' with a pool party at the swanky Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

“We’re going to have the best time,” Paisley tells Riverside, Calif.’s KFRG radio station. “There’s something about that city.”

The singer, whose debut single from the album, 'River Bank' is already climbing the charts, admits he sees a water theme that has run through his entire career, including his cross-country, two year H2O Tour, which began in 2010.

“Seems like it, doesn’t it," he says when asked if he's a bit obsessed by the water. "I’ve had many a song about it."

The video for 'River Bank' shows Paisley and his band playing guitar in the water, which would seem to make the instruments unusable. But the West Virginia native says the guitars were actually already ruined by the Nashville Flood in 2010.

“I’ve called myself, for years, a river rat,” he explains of his love of the water. “My best memories with my grandfather are on that body of water, and my dad and learning to ski. It’s kind of like a back-to-basics song, which is really an inner tube and a boat and you’ve got a theme park.”

Tickets for Paisley's pool party will go on sale on Thursday (July 24) at 1PM ET. The singer is currently crossing the country on his Country Nation World Tour, with Randy Houser, Charlie Worsham, Leah Turner and Dee Jay Silver serving as the tour's special guests.
