Brad Paisley has revealed the title for his upcoming tenth studio album.

The country star tells Billboard that the new project -- which is due on Aug. 26 -- is titled 'Moonshine in the Trunk.'

That title, he explains, has to do with the loose approach he took to the new recordings.

"It was a lot of fun this time," he says. "We built a bar in our studio house, and it was kind of a 'if you build it, the band will come' approach."

That's not to say Paisley has reverted to a strictly traditional country sound. His new album sees him incorporating elements of EDM and dubstep, and using modern recording techniques to blend those genres with country.

"When you hear a banjo through stutter edit, it's the coolest thing you ever heard," he observes. "The rulebook's gone, or was there ever one? They try, but I don't play by it."

Paisley is also set for a summer tour titled the Country Nation World Tour. That road trek kicks off May 16 in Philadelphia, and will visit more than 40 cities before wrapping up in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 20. Randy Houser, Charlie Worsham, Leah Turner and Dee Jay Silver will serve as Paisley’s special guests.

That tour includes a very special appearance at the 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival, which takes place from June 13-15 at Hunter Mountain in New York. Other headliners at the three-day country music and camping festival include Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert and Hank Williams, Jr.
