Newly-crowned Album of the Year winner Blake Shelton took the stage during the 2013 CMA Awards to perform 'Mine Would Be You.'

The track is the third single from Shelton's album 'Based on a True Story.' He and his band performed on a stage full of electric candles, but otherwise it was a no-frills performance that put the focus squarely on the lyrics as Shelton sang, "Baby, if I had to choose / My best day ever, my finest hour, my wildest dream come true / Mine would be you."

As Shelton finished, the director predictably cut to a shot of Shelton's wife, Miranda Lambert, who had a huge smile on her face.

'Mine Would Be You' is just the latest Top 10 hit for Shelton, who entered the night with five 2013 CMA nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, which he won a year ago.
