BJ Barham, Wife Rachael’s Baby Girl Is Here!

Proud dad BJ Barham announced the birth of his baby girl on Monday night (April 9). The American Aquarium frontman and his wife Rachael welcomed Josephine Pearl Barham to the world earlier that day, and both mom and baby are doing great.

According to Barham's Instagram post, Josephine Pearl arrived at 5:31PM, weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches long. An earlier post on Instagram by Rachael indicated that they will call the baby by her middle name, Pearl.

"Baby and Mom are healthy and doing well," Barham writes. "Dad is currently wrapped around her finger."

Barham and his wife announced the pregnancy (their first) in October of 2017, shortly after the artist completed his solo Great 48 Tour. American Aquarium are set to release a new album, aptly titled Things Change, on June 1; the disc will feature a brand-new iteration of the band, following a complete turnover in members (save for Barham) last year.

Beginning in late May and running through late June, American Aquarium will tour throughout the U.S. in support of Things Change.
