Billy Ray Cyrus tweeted a photo of an unusual sunset the other day, accompanying it with, "My first UFO sighting. Looks like 5 or 6 disk like shapes hovering. Special moment 4 DAD."

The red-hued sky in the picture does, in fact, look strange, but where a less imaginative man may have seen oddly shaped clouds, Billy Ray went with a more otherworldly theory, or perhaps he was just being humorous. (Judge for yourself here.)

The 50-year-old 'Achy Breaky Heart' singer is slated to return to the small screen with a role on the CW's '90210,' but we bet he wishes it was 'The X-Files.'

The singer, actor and father of six is busy promoting his new album of patriotic tunes, 'I'm American,' which includes special guest vocals by Craig Morgan, Darryl Worley and Jamey Johnson. One track on the project is a remake of his classic hit, 'Some Gave All.'
