Alison Krauss and Big Kenny are the latest country stars lending their talents to help the victims of Haiti, suffering from that country's devastating earthquake on January 12. Benefiting Compassion International, they are participating in 'Help Haiti Live,' a two-city event, taking place Feb. 27 at both Nashville's Ryman Auditiorium and the Witlern Theater in Los Angeles.

In Nashville, Alison will be joined by both her band, Union Station, featuring Jerry Douglas. Other performers include Jars of Clay, Matt Kearney, Matt Wertz, Dave Barnes and Brandon Heath. The Los Angeles show, headlined by Amy Grant, will feature performances by Rebecca St. James, Francis Chan and a surprise guest.

Big Kenny, who will serve double-duty as host and performer at the Ryman, has traveled to the ravaged country to search for a close personal friend who is believed to have perished from the disaster.
