When the parents of Addie Roberts, a two-year-old girl, found out she was battling Pre-B ALL Leukemia, they never could have imagined they would end up being scammed out of money as well, but that's exactly what happened.

Kyle Nunn was charged with scamming the family out of $3,000, and a local business out of $6,000, by claiming he could arrange a benefit concert with Jason Aldean. But, thankfully, the family is still being taken care of, thanks to the generosity of a country artist and an anonymous donor.

Gary Allan announced he would do a benefit concert for the family, with all of the proceeds going toward Addie's medical care. Now, someone else has paid the entire $3,000, giving the family some much-needed peace during this difficult time.

“Everything’s been just overwhelming from the community,” Addie’s mom says, adding that even though they have endured a lot of pain, “… so much more good has come from it.”

Allan's benefit concert will occur on March 25 at Baxter's 942 in Louisville, Ky. The concert is sold out. To find out more about Addie Roberts, or to donate to her ongoing medical expenses, click here.
