"I learned a long time ago to quit reading what anybody writes," Kenny Chesney tells ABC's Robin Roberts. "I'm just doing the best I can do to be myself."

The country superstar offers a candid interview with the popular news anchor for her upcoming special 'In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville,' an intimate look at several country stars leading up to the CMA Awards. (Watch a clip from Kenny's interview below.) The 'You and Tequila' singer joins fellow superstars Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Sugarland, Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina for the one-hour primetime special.

Other highlights from the show will include a look inside Keith and wife Nicole Kidman's house -- the first time they've ever let TV cameras into their home. Robin will also visit Faith and hubby Tim McGraw's farm, where Faith will talk about making her country music comeback after a six-year hiatus from recording. And Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles will open up for the first time on network television about the deadly stage collapse in Indiana that has changed her life forever.

'In The Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville' will air on the eve of the CMA Awards, Nov. 8 at 10:00 PM ET on ABC.

The 45th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 9, 2011 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC. Click here for the full list of this year's CMA nominees.
